About Us

IMG_0102Founded in 1985, the Friends of Stricker, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of historical Rock Creek Station and Stricker Homesite through awareness, education, fundraising, and memberships.

The Site itself is operated by the Idaho State Historical Society. The Friends maintain a supportive relationship with the ISHS, assisting them in their mission to preserve and promote Idaho’s cultural history.

The Friends of Stricker Board of Trustees is responsible for administering the funds raised by the group, as well as providing educational, historical, and cultural resources for Site visitors. Additionally, volunteers made up of the larger Friends membership assist the organization during fundraising events, educational programs, and tours. If you are interested in becoming a Friend or volunteer, please contact us.
